Every competition has rules… and this one’s no different. You’re probably familiar with most of them, but here’s a brief overview of the updated rules for Round 2 of Strategy Lab Open.
The rules are simple:
If you are a legal resident of the 50 United States (and DC), are at least 21 when you enter, and are not employed by Microsoft, Marketocracy, or InvestorPlace Media, LLC, then you are eligible to participate.
Registrations must be received between January 1 - January 31, 2008 to compete between February 1 - July 11, 2008.
You can only enter once, and during the competition you have to blog (in English) about your stock picks at least once (although we encourage competitors to blog early and blog often). All blog entries must be original work it can’t have been published or submitted in any other competition.
All entries will be judged by an expert panel and the winner will be selected based on the following criteria: 50% Portfolio Performance, 25% Quality of Blog Posts, 25% Phone Interview Regarding Investment Strategy.
