China: Water: Stock: Hyflux???
Long term Stock that was recommended to me via Asian Growth, Company - Hyflux, Symbol (HYFXF)
Asian Growth article:
"Clean drinking water in China is in demand -- 75% of the country's rivers and lakes are no longer fit for human consumption."
Do a Google search on anything to do with clear or drinkable water in China and you will get a page full of links.
"Hyflux is the Singaporean water company that developed patented water purification technology. The filters Hyflux developed are so
advanced that they can also desalinate seawater at half the cost of the typical US desalination plant."
First quarter results: Revenues surged 412% to $64.9 million, while earnings shot up a 395% to $4.13 million!
Hyflux is an engineering services and technology company, trades in Singapore under the ticker symbol "600" and last traded for $3.65 each. It also trades over-the-counter in New York under the symbol "HYFXF"; last price: $2.67 each.
Same analyst who recommended YZC (a China coal company) trading over a $100.00 today.
Does anyone know anything about this market?
Other plays that I found -- Asia Environment, Epure, as well GE and Veolia are strong in the market....

Dude...Hyflux has 502 million shares outstanding and at its current price, that's a market value of almost $1.5 BILLION! Think "Con".
Also, check out the Hoover links on Hyflux, such as "click here for financials"...and when clicked, the page has expired. Classic "pump-and-dump".
Assuming you aren't a shill trying to sucker other investors in (which I suspect), this is a straight "bedpan"...at first, bright and shiny, but in reality, full of crap.
