in a market as volatile as the current market
I'm looking for long term foundation
one of my prime choices is: NVEC (NVE Corp.)
although technology is normally in favor
during the initial phase of a new bull market,
rather then the current aged bull phase,
I consider NVEC to have solid future value
NVEC is a rapidly developing nanotechnology company
which develops and sells "spintronic devices"
which is new nanotechnology which is based upon
electron spin, rather then electron charge,
to acquire, store and transmit bits of information
although their current products: sensors, and data couplers
might be somewhat effected by overall market market conditions,
I don't believe that some of their medical products
would be as vulnerable as consumer electronic products
I consider a lot of the financial value of NVEC
to be stored within their spintronic patent portfolio,
which, as a newly evolving technology,
is not yet fully realized in current profit streams
http://finance.yahoo.com lists NVEC
Trailing P/E (ttm, intraday) as: 27.58
spintronics is expected to be quite valuable
in the next generation of computer memory chips
and such spintronic MRAM (Magnetoresistive Random Access Memory)
has not yet begun generating profit streams
