      <![CDATA[<p>I decided to invest primarily in energy and stocks related to food production. I believe with current market conditions, essentials like food and utilities will hold value much better than other sectors. Of course, any sector will have certain growth areas and also their losers.</p>

<p>This my first time in such a competition. As of today my portfolio is up 4.1 % since inception, so I guess I could be doing worse. </p>

<p>GE and Deere have been my two biggest disappointments. I sold some pretty early, held some hoping for a turnaround. I keep hoping....</p>
