I am newbee to the stcok trading business. My trading so far has being unothordox. I have been big companies, companies with a international brand name, companies that I know a lot about. Sometimes I buy stocks that are recommended by analyst. Some of these stocks are doing okay. But some have been a bumer e.g Google.
I would appreciate any help from anybody. I want to be good a good trader.

Whatever you're doing, it seems that you only have the one big loser, without GOOG you would show a profit.

I am very studious, go over the financials with a fine tooth comb, and I haven't done as well as you. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing...

But if you avoid stocks with extremely high P/Es, such as Google, over the long run you will probably do better.
