Bought Nike stock because of the up coming Olympic summer games, European nations cup, and the golf masters. This coming week I am also thinking of adding either reebok or addidas

I am newbee to the stcok trading business. My trading so far has being unothordox. I have been big companies, companies with a international brand name, companies that I know a lot about. Sometimes I buy stocks that are recommended by analyst. Some of these stocks are doing okay. But some have been a bumer e.g Google.
I would appreciate any help from anybody. I want to be good a good trader.
