Update

I must say that I am suprised that my dividend play strategy still has a hot hand. It goes to show you that sometimes a gain in the market is just a guess. An educated guess but still a guess.

My dividend strategy concentrated my holdings in oil support and shipping. It was good timing with oil and I still think that shipping will work out.

Although my return this quarter was great (much better than my personal holding) it does not change my strong belief in diversification.

Initial Entry Basis

It is difficult trying to pick stocks for this type of contest.
In my own portfolio (and for long term investors) I believe in diversification.
Since this contest is over such a short time frame, I decided to invest with two thoughts in mind. The first was was in a dividend play and the second was in the shipping sector.
