I see that they want you to be able to show someone how to invest in stock's. I don't claim to be no guru, but I can honestly say that I have found a way Thru due dilligence To beat the market.Remember that I'm not a cfa or cpa/mba. I'm some guy from baltimore that loves portfolio modeling. This is how it all started In 2000 I was surfing the web and found Marketocracy for years I read about stock's But didn't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of,so when I found marketocracy I gave me a way to theoreticaly learn how to make portfolio model's.So I came up with this intellectual game called "beat bill miller" Being from baltimore md Headquarters of Legg Mason and legendary fund manager Bill Miller. The Idea was to beat his consecutive streak of yearly precentage gains. No easy task to start in 2000 when the.com bubble bursted. That's when I learned trick #1 Be in a position or sector long before before the masses show up and thing's get irrational. That's what happened when in 2000 I made a homebuilders fund from 2000-04 The fund went from 1 million to almost 4 million How,thru research lots of it.and that's where we start our learing. Where do you get the information to research.Me myself I dont have the power of a major brokerage firm's research dept ,no money to buy Research.Where do i start? Your local library Being from baltimore md home of Enoch pratt free library. I simply walked to the main branch downntown Passed legg mason headquarters on the way.walked in to the business section and told the librarian( who by the way are some of most intelligent people on the face of this earth)What I was trying to do Thats when they showed me the value line investment survey $1500 a year(free) the s&p monthly sector report $600.00 monthly(free) IBD, wallstreet journal, and on and on. The enoch pratt free library has a business section for equites that rivals any brokerage house research dept for free now the fun how to use this information and profit from it.We will start with the valueline investment survey

The valueline Investment survey.Valueline.com.One thing I can tell you for sure is the valueline is worth it's weight in gold. You can get the valueline for free at your local library simply ask for 'the value line invest survey" also ask them to log you on to valueline database. The section that you want is called "Summary&Index" go to pages 24 What you will find here on this page is the valueline opinion of timely industries or sector's.This gives you a starting point to look at sectors to determine what sector has the best opportunity to profit from.page 25-26 tells you the individual company's inside of the sectors that are timely.I try to stick to stock's that are in the top 5 timely industries.Once I choose a sector and the stock's inside that sector I go to "look up company" when you first enter valueline.com. Read the report's for the stock and industry that you are interested in.Form your own opinion of why this sector and why this stock. Then get a second opinion go to yahoo.com,click on finance, enter the symbol of the stock that you are interested in.This is what I call seeking the" wisdom of the crowd" look at the news, forum's and the chart's go to stockcharts.comto get more technical charts and go to chart school to learn how to read chart's.Stock charts are to me like looking at an ekg of the heart they tell you the beat to the last second if you have real time charts But they dont tell you when the next heart attack is coming.
