Prognosis-physical 11yrs double digit earning's growth.Growth by acquisition model positive.Positive stock buy back program. Now the bad news. The quote that comes to mind when I look at united health is from sigmund freud- All human society is constructed on a complicity in a great crime. When you look at their record its full of corruption from option back dating to the igenix database.IMHO this data base should be run indepent third party. In game theory you got two hawks (doctors and insurers) fighting to pass the buck on to one dove. There is profit in confusion.I would buy unh at this low. With a price target of 3-5 yrs 80-105.United is physically well, but mentally ill | ||

Stack,
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner.
The Grand Conspiracy is the Perception of Value
and what the parameters of Status are.
The story behind the story is that whatever you throw money at, you get more of it. As long as the government is dumping cash and privileges on the Health & Pharmaceutical sector, Costs will rise to eat up the ever-growing subsidies.
UNH may indeed rise, they are NOT as "FISCALLY" ill as their ' Pay or Die ' customers.

Stack,
15 Bucks with a bullet --- you gotta go to the 4-letered words for that kind of Nickel & Dime action.
Do the Ladies call you the Great Big Spender ?
Try MXWL - Maxwell Tech - Ultracapacitors for battery replacement in cars & trucks ( BoosCAPs ). Capacitors deliver Max Power on demand - cranking Amps - they are used as truck motor starters. The endgame is use in Electric cars. They also have just made a deal with Johnson Controls to co-develop a new Lithium-Ion battery design.
It's a STEAL at $13 and change.
PTIE - Pain Therapeutics - develops abuse-resistant opioids formulation to control pain.
It's on sale at half price - about $8, so you get 2 for your $15 budget.
How about SWC - Stillwater Mining - a Platinum / Palladium play for non-gold inflation worries.
AUO ( AU OPtronics ) makes LCD modules for TV and all kinds of screens big and cell-phone small. They are an OEM and everybody uses their stuff. Their sales are growing ( especially in the Christmas pre-season )
AUO's CAPS rating 5-Stars / StockScouter Rating -- 10...
But the AOU stock is under-appreciated by Mr. Market. It's about 18 Smackers and probably out of your price range.
How about an Extreme Contrarian play - Like TSN ( for when the S. Koreans decide they want to eat beef again ) and YRCW in case they're the last trucker standing after oil cools down or levels out -- the stock has really been Punished.
As long as we're talking Cats & Dogs -- why not take a flyer on a Dead Cat Bounce. Speaking of dead -- How about SCI - it's been about as dead as it's Clients.
