GE- General Electric is an industrial powerhouse with businesses spanning the globe. It stands to benefit from the gloabl boom on infrastructure buildout. It's various businesses will hold up well even if a segment of the economy were to be adversely impacted. It has an ROE of 18% and net margin of 12%. In a flight to quality it will stand to benefit and it should be able to take advantage of the credit crunch by buying promising technologies from debt laden companies fighting to survive.
