PFE- Pfizer Inc is a global pharmaceutical company. It has been beaten down since a number of billion dollar revenue generating drugs have lost or are losing their patent protection. It has a very large research and development that is looking for new blockbuster drugs. It recently sold it's consumer health division to Johnson and Johnson. It's a classic defensive play during these uncertain times. It's forward PEG is below 1 nd while waiting for the stock to turn around it gives a dividend a shade under 5%. It's hefty war chest can allow it the luxury of buying the next generation of blockbuster drugs through acquisition of promising companies.
