Biography

Although I find blasting-action computer games boring, I love the investing game via Marketocracy. My other interests include camping, hiking, murder mysteries, science fiction, Jazzercise and dance in general. I do Jazzercise every day to keep osteoporosis at bay.

It is terrible when work interferes with hobbies but I do have a day job in Investor Relations, which I love.

I have been in print publishing since 1971 and Web design since 1993. As executive director of professional associations, I edited technical publications, some of which are today being sold via Ebay. I organized local and national conventions, compiled industry financial data, helped develop US government career information and participated in ANSI committees. In 1984, I joined my present employer, National Corporate Services, Inc., now DBA Wall-Street.com (WSC). Here, I developed the Wall-Street.com Website in 1993, later launching additional Websites: MicrocapLeaders.com, BullAndBearGifts.com, IR101.com, IrDreamTeam.com, WallStreetMuseum.org and others. In addition I design WSC's databases, compile financials from major databases and screen to find exceptional stocks. Previously I taught French and English. I can also get along in German and Spanish.

Strategy

Soap Opera Method of Investing: Following waves in the markets and the fate of corporations swimming in them is better than watching a soap opera. Long-term survivors have good fundamentals. Technical analysis is too much like shoot-em-up computer gaming.
