There was a problem in SLO-1 which persists - competitive Low-balling, that is giving 1 star ( which is a -3 ) to other competitors.
The theory - bring yourself up by putting others down. That sucks and I made many a mention of this phenomenon in my SLO-1 Blogs and to Marketocracy in the [ Forums ] - which you get to by clicking the My Clubs [ forums ] box on the page that comes up after the password sign-in page. My Forums comment on this issue on Dec 19, 2007 deals with this and is a Kah-Lassic VikingWarrior

I was a 'victim' of this and it showed up bad because I got so few Votes. I started voting for myself just to NEUTRALIZE the sticking-out-like-a-sore-Thumb single -3 vote.

I have a SLO-Port but do not compete, blog or Vote anymore. So I'm not the Texas Lone Star bad guy. OK !!!

PS : In the SLO contest we all compete against " The Box" - the Market as it is - not each other per se. Better to Learn from others and / or Teach others in a spirit of mutual Co-operation. Not So ?
